Koichi Miyamoto is a partner who has highly specialized expertise in the fields of financial regulatory issues including the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, Banking Act and Investment Trust Act. His professional experience also includes private equity investments, venture capital investments, real estate securitizations, asset based lending and various types of financial transactions. In addition to his professional experience at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, he has also worked for the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission of Japan (from May 2008 to May 2010), where he was in charge of the inspection of financial instruments business operators.
Mr. Miyamoto has advised number of cryptocurrency exchanges on licensing issues in Japan and ICO related matters.
